Meetings Coordinator

HDA seeks a well-organized candidate with superior technical skills to join our meetings and conference department. This is a non-exempt position, and reports to the Senior VP, Meetings and Conferences.

Requirements: The successful candidate will provide administrative, logistical and technical support for the Meetings and Conferences department, which includes handling logistical concerns (travel and housing), meeting room requirements, food and beverage functions, developing staff on-site schedules, managing meeting-related content on our website pages, working with SVP on hotel contracts and outside vendors and researching cost-effective vendor options that meet HDA standards. Must have the ability to work on multiple projects and with minimal supervision.

Candidate must have at least two years' office experience and be technically proficient in Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel. CRM software (Abila netFORUM) experience highly desirable, as well as Asana project management software. A college degree is preferred and experience in meeting and conference planning is a plus. This position requires travel up to 15 days per year.
