Chris Adderton has been the Vice President of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) in Lombard, Illinois, USA, since 2013.
Mr. Adderton brings more than 25 years of experience in consumer packaged goods with accomplishments in organizational development, change management, technology implementation, sales and operations planning and trade promotions management. He led a successful sales and marketing agency, held sales and operational leadership positions in at ConAgra Foods and then led the U.S. Client Service organization for the Nielsen Co. Recently he has been involved in senior executive and development roles with a number of fast growing companies.

And his expertise in evaluating organizational capability and processes and implementing large scale operational and technology projects provides significant performance improvement for organizations.
Mr. Adderton holds a BA in Economics from the University of Missouri.
Peter is a pharmacist by profession and spent nearly 30 years in pharmaceutical wholesaling before joining the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) in 2013.
Whilst in industry, he was instrumental in identifying the first of the recent counterfeit medicines in 2004. He then worked with the MHRA and BAPW (HDA UK) on the Anti-Counterfeit strategy.
As a Senior GDP Inspector, he sits on the Falsified Medicinal Products Stakeholder Group and will be involved with a number of the working groups on the implementation of FMD.
Cormac Dalton graduated from University College Dublin with a PhD in Organic Chemistry. His PhD was based upon the catalytic asymmetric synthesis using organometallic Chromium complexes.
He worked in the pharmaceutical industry over a period of five years prior to joining the Health Products Regulatory Authority (HPRA), formerly the Irish Medicines Board (www.HPRA.ie). While working at HPRA, Cormac acted as an inspector of manufacturers and distributors of active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and medicinal products. He was a member of the Steering Committee of the PICS Expert Circle on APIs (www.picscheme.org/index.php) responsible for the planning and execution of training programs to regulatory agencies worldwide.
In August 2014, Cormac joined AbbVie Pharmaceuticals (www.abbvie.com) as Director of Quality and Compliance, providing strategic direction across a global network of biopharmaceutical manufacturing sites.
He is currently Director Compliance, Supply Chain & Commercial Quality in an enterprise role.
Mark Davison is CEO of Blue Sphere Health, an international healthcare consultancy focusing on traceability and authentication of medicines. His drug industry career includes GlaxoSmithKline, contract research organisations, biotechnology companies and security vendors.
Mark works with drug companies, distributors, technology suppliers and public sector organisations on serialisation and brand protection for various markets. Projects include preparing for FMD (EU) and DSCSA (USA) compliance and identifying added-value commercial opportunities around traceable supply chains.
Mark is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and is the author of “Pharmaceutical Anti-Counterfeiting” (476pp, Wiley, N.Y., 2011).
Monika Derecque-Pois is the Director General of GIRP, the European Healthcare Distribution Association, which brings together over 750 pharmaceutical full-line wholesaling companies and their national associations from 32 countries. Monika was appointed to her current position in 2001, having previously served as European affairs consultant for GIRP. She has over 20 years of experience in European public affairs.
Prior to her engagement with GIRP, she served as a director in a European affairs consultancy company, and she also held a six-year post as Marketing and Client Support Manager at IMS Health Austria.
Monika was born in Graz, Austria, and holds a master degree in Economics from the University of Economics in Vienna, where she specialised in International Trade and Marketing.

Nina has extensive experience in the healthcare industry, having worked for companies such as Pfizer and Wyeth in marketing and sales roles, which involved the launching of new products. Also she worked for over 12 years with IMS Health in their management consulting division.
Nina started her career as a Biochemist and has gained experience as the Managing Director of a primary market research company, in medical communications, and is a qualified Psychotherapist and Executive Coach.
She joined the PHOENIX group two years ago and is responsible for developing their new initiatives in Business Intelligence, working across Europe.
Chuck Forsaith joined Purdue Pharma L.P. in 2001, after 21 years of service as both a New Hampshire municipal and State Police officer – and also having formally directed security operations for a United States Military Installation.
His responsibilities with Purdue Pharma include managing all domestic and international supply chain security efforts, as well as regulatory compliance with all Federal and International supply chain security programs. He also acts as the Chairman of the Pharmaceutical Cargo Security Coalition (PCSC), which consists of members from a wide variety of disciplines who monitor the security of pharmaceutical goods, in both transit and storage all over the world.
He has lectured domestically and internationally in the disciplines of Pharmaceutical Supply Chain and Site Security for such organizations as the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Food and Drug Administration, Drug Enforcement Administration, the United States Department of Justice, United States Customs and the United States Department of Homeland Security.
Elizabeth A. Gallenagh, Esq., is the Senior Vice President, Government Affairs and General Counsel for HDA. She is responsible for overseeing federal and state advocacy on behalf of HDA member companies and is the organization’s chief in-house attorney. Additionally, she serves as HDA’s primary expert on prescription drug traceability, distributor licensure and tax issues.
Since joining HDA in 2003, Ms. Gallenagh led the Alliance's industry-wide efforts to replace a 50-state patchwork of pedigree laws with one national traceability solution, which became a reality through the enactment of Title II of the Drug Quality and Security Act in November 2013. In 2014, she was honored by the industry with the Distribution Management Award for Industry Leadership, which honors an individual who has exhibited the highest standards of honesty and integrity, working to enhance industry relations and knowledge, as well as supply chain efficiency and security.
Gallenagh holds a JD from the George Mason University School of Law and a BA from The George Washington University.
John M. Gray has served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of HDA since 2004. He is responsible for overseeing all HDA operations and activities and reports directly to the HDA Board of Directors. Gray also serves as President and CEO of the HDA Research Foundation.
Prior to joining HDA, Gray served for eight years as Food Distributor International’s (FDI) Executive Vice President and General Counsel. When FDI merged with the Food Marketing Institute to form the International Foodservice Distributors Association in 2003, Gray became its President and CEO.
From 1987 to 1994, Gray served as Vice President of Education and as Industry Affairs Counsel for the Grocery Manufacturers Association.

Tiia Metiäinen is currently working as Manager, Regulatory Affairs, at the European Federation of Pharmaceutical Industries and Associations (EFPIA) on regulatory policy topics linked to clinical development, technical development (manufacturing, CMC), supply chain and special topic areas such as pediatrics and pharmaceuticals in the environment.

Through its direct membership of 33 national associations and 42 leading pharmaceutical companies, EFPIA is the voice on the EU scene of 1,900 companies committed to researching, developing and bringing new medicines to patients that will improve health and the quality of life around the world.
Tiia holds a masters in pharmacy (with a minor in EU studies) from the University of Helsinki and has professional experience from pharmaceutical industry, community pharmacy as well as association work. She also is a member of the Drug Information Association (DIA) Advisory Council for the Europe, Middle East and Africa Region.
Scott Mooney is Vice President of Distribution Operations at McKesson Corporation. His primary responsibilities are assuring product integrity through regulatory compliance and traceability. Scott leads McKesson’s Traceability Team working on implementation across McKesson’s various business units.
Scott joined McKesson in 1987 and had previous roles in Finance, Distribution Center Management and as a Regional Vice President of Distribution Operations. Scott has participated in McKesson’s integration of acquisitions over the last 15 years.
Scott has been active in HDA’s Traceability Workgroup in addition to serving on the HDA Industry Relations Council and participating in several committees including the FGAC, RAC and SGAC. He is active with GS1 Global serving on the Process Oversight Committee as well as GS1’s Global Healthcare Leadership Committee.
Scott has a BA in Accountancy and a MBA from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse.
John Munson is the Head of Global Accounts at Mylan, responsible for the account management of global customers and key European accounts.
John joined Mylan in the UK in 2007 as Sales & Marketing Director and moved into the Country Manager role for the UK & IRE before taking up his current position. John has a 20-year history in Pharmaceuticals with roles at Astra, Ivax and Ranbaxy. During his time at Mylan, he has also held the position of Area Director for Northern and Western Europe.
John studied Business, Finance and Marketing in Bournemouth and later gained an MBA from the same college. He is also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Eric Percher is an equity analyst and former distribution industry professional.
Eric recently worked with Barclays as its Senior Analyst covering the Healthcare Distribution and Technology sector. He was named to the Institutional Investor All-American Research Team in October of 2016 during his second year covering the space for Barclays.
Eric joined Barclays from McKesson, a healthcare distribution and technology company, where he was Director of Strategic Finance. Eric brought not only deep healthcare industry knowledge to Barclays, but also extensive sell-side experience. Prior to McKesson, Eric covered Healthcare Services and Healthcare Facilities at Thomas Weisel Partners; and during his tenure at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette he covered Healthcare Technology and Distribution and Pharmaceuticals Services.
Eric graduated from Brandeis University with a bachelor's degree in Economics.
Martin was a UK government official for seven years, latterly working for nearly three years in 10 Downing Street, in the private office of the Prime Minister. He then moved into the private sector as a consultant, advising companies and organisations seeking to understand public policy and communicate their views to the UK government. Having particular experience of working with most regulated sectors, including healthcare, Martin has advised many key players in the medicines supply chain at one time or another. He won the prestigious Public Affairs News ‘Best Consultant’ Award in 2006.
In 1995, Martin was invited to be part of a small team which successfully started up an international public policy consultancy in London, and it was this firm that bid successfully to run the BAPW trade association (subsequently renamed HDA UK), when it was competitively outsourced. Martin was therefore well-placed to be appointed to the position of Executive Director as part of this process.
Rick has over 25 years of Life Sciences industry experience, including Medical Device, Surgical Instrument and Pharmaceutical Packaging and Services. His primary expertise is Strategic Planning, Business Development, Project Management, Business Process Improvement and Technology Services.
Rick is one of the industry’s leading experts in serialization technology and implementation. He has been with Sharp Packaging Solutions since 2004 having held senior roles at B. Braun Medical.

Per Troein has been with IMS for 20 years and is responsible for supplier and associations relationships. He is a well-known speaker in the field of distribution trends and pricing and is very active in consulting projects in the area.
The dispensing and distribution environment is very dynamic. Pricing of pharmaceutical is as complicated. One of IMS’ priorities is to have the best understanding of those dynamics to secure the most appropriate data, to be the best partner with the different data partners, and to be able to support the industry and also, when appropriate, governments.
Prior to joining IMS, Per worked 13 years for Pharmacia. His last 6 years were spent in strategic development as a Vice President, including several major mergers and acquisitions.

Miguel Valdés is the Director General of FEDIFAR, the Spanish Association of Pharmaceutical Full-line Wholesalers, which is headquartered in Madrid.
After a short experience in the Marketing Department of an oil company, he came to the pharmaceutical wholesaling business in 1996 as assistant to the managing director of ACFESA, a group of Spanish pharmaceutical wholesalers. He spent several years in different positions in this company until January 2004, when he was named Director General of FEDIFAR.
He holds a bachelor degree in Business Administration and obtained his MBA from ICADE, University of Comillas, (Madrid).
After his studies of Administration Sciences at the University of Constance in Germany, Andreas M. Walter joined EFPIA, the European Federation of the researched-based pharmaceutical industry, in September 1993 as Executive for Administration and Finance.
From 2011 onwards, as Project Director he was responsible for ensuring that EFPIA members can comply with the safety feature requirements of the Falsified Medicines Directive in the most effective way, including the set up of a stakeholder-governed Pan-European verification model (EMVS).
After the incorporation of the European Medicines Verification Organisation (EMVO) in February 2015, he also headed the organisation ad interim in order to manage the European hub that will connect to a series of national data repositories serving as the platform to allow the verification of authenticity of medicines anywhere in the supply chain within the EU/EEA.
In April 2016, he was appointed as General Manager of EMVO to represent the organisation.
Erin Yaklich is currently the Customer Strategy for MMD and the Global Wholesale Segment Lead. In this role, Erin partners with strategic customer teams and other Merck team members to set strategy, establish best practices, and help develop solutions based on the needs of this specific customer segment. Erin also works closely with the manufacturing division to develop customer understanding, capabilities and solutions/services. She is part of Merck’s Customer Strategy and Innovation Team as well as Supply Chain Management. Erin has been part of building and realizing the Customer Centricity Strategy, a company-wide effort to strengthen Merck's relationship with its leading customers around the world, since its inception three years ago.
With more than 20 years of experience in Merck’s manufacturing division, Erin brings headquarters and regional experience in supply chain and portfolio management, lifecycle strategy, new products planning and operational effectiveness.
Prior to this assignment in Merck Customer Centricity, Erin was the Executive Director of Franchise Management in MMD for Primary Care and Women’s Health as well as the MMD CBL Lead for Diversified Brands. In this role, she led a team that collaborated closely with Marketing and Research on product and supply chain development, launch and ongoing supply optimization. Erin has significant experience working with and leading cross function/divisional teams.
Before that, Erin was the European Operations Program realization lead and worked with all of the European manufacturing sites to execute the Merck manufacturing strategy. She began her career at Merck in 1987, as a chemical engineer in the Rahway Site Operations and Environmental Control, and has had a variety of roles with increasing responsibility in Procurement, Supply Chain and Operations.
Erin received her BS from the University of Colorado and an MBA from Rutgers University.
Heather Zenk, R.Ph., PharmD., is Vice President, Global Secure Supply Chain Operations at AmerisourceBergen Corporation. In this role, she has responsibilities for developing and implementing traceability business processes and technology that will enhance patient safety, further secure the pharmaceutical supply chain and create broader service offerings to manufacturer partners and AmerisourceBergen customers. In addition, Heather manages manufacturer programs and data.
Heather has over 15 years of pharmacy, procurement and supply chain experience, which she has utilized in her career at AmerisourceBergen including that of Vice President, Distribution Center Manager at the Chicago Distribution Center, SAP business liaison; and running operations at the Canadian Distribution network.
Prior to joining AmerisourceBergen Corporation in 2007, Heather worked at Walgreen Co., as a pharmacist and manager of generic procurement and strategic solutions. As part of her dedication to patient safety and advocacy, she continues to maintain her license to practice pharmacy in Minnesota as well as in Illinois.
Heather received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of St. Benedict, St. Joseph, MN, and a Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from the University of Minnesota.
