Virtual Appointments

Access the Virtual Meeting

The 2021 Annual Board and Membership Meeting will be held virtually on HDA’s PartnerLinx® platform. The system will not only generate the schedules for your business appointments, but also serve as a “gateway” to the general sessions and your virtual one-on-ones. All meetings will be launched from PartnerLinx in the Zoom app. For more detailed instructions, download HDA’s User Guide.

To prepare for your virtual meetings and general sessions, please follow these steps to ensure you can access PartnerLinx.

  1. Chrome is required to use PartnerLinx. Be sure to download and install it if needed.
  2. Log in to using the email address and password associated with your HDA account. If you need to reset your password, click “Forgot Password” on the PartnerLinx homepage. You will be redirected to the HDA website to update your password. Once complete, return to PartnerLinx to log in.
  3. Meetings and sessions will be hosted in Zoom. Download Zoom and test your computer’s audio and video before the meeting begins.

 Creating One-On-One Business Appointments

Each company has a designated appointment coordinator to request and accept appointments for your team. Appointments will be held in 30-minute intervals (with 10-minute breaks in between) during the following times:

  • Monday, September 27: 1:20 p.m.–5:10 p.m. (ET)
  • Tuesday, September 28: 10:00 a.m.–11:50 a.m.; 1:30 p.m.–4:40 p.m. (ET)
  • Wednesday, September 29: 10:40 a.m.–12:30 p.m. (ET)

PartnerLinx will be open from September 6–22 for coordinators to create appointments. Make your appointment requests directly in the PartnerLinx system.

  1. Once logged in, you can view a directory of companies you can request appointments with. Click “Request Appointment” to select your time slot.
  2. An invitation notice will be emailed to the organization’s coordinator. Each company’s appointment coordinator is the only person who can request and accept appointments. 
  3. To confirm or decline appointments, click “Pending Appointments” on the home screen, then select “Accept” or “Decline.” Coordinators will also be notified when an appointment is accepted or declined.

Joining a Virtual Meeting

Once logged in, you will see your schedule populated with confirmed appointments and the general session links.

  1. To access, scroll to the meeting time of your appointment.
  2. Click on the meeting to see additional details.
  3. When you are ready to join, click on “Join Virtual Meeting.” This button will appear five minutes before each meeting is scheduled to begin.
  4. A Zoom webpage will pop up in a new browser. Launch the Zoom app to join the meeting.

Important Note: If you download your schedule to your personal calendar (i.e., Outlook), the Zoom meeting information will not transfer. You must log in to PartnerLinx to join the virtual meetings.
