Distributors are working to anticipate and prevent disruptions to the supply chain and to ensure that pharmacies, hospitals, providers and, ultimately, their patients have access to the medicines and supplies they need. Sitting at the heart of the pharmaceutical supply chain, HDA’s distributor members are working closely with federal and state health officials to facilitate timely information sharing and coordination while also maintaining active business continuity plans in the event of disruptions to operations due to the pandemic.
