Scherr and Giacomin to Head HDMA Board of Directors

ARLINGTON, Va. — At the sixth HDMA Annual Board and Membership Meeting in Scottsdale, Ariz., the Association announced the reelection of Ted M. Scherr, President/CEO, Dakota Drug, Inc., and Jon Giacomin, Chief Executive Officer, Pharmaceutical Segment, Cardinal Health, Inc., as Chairman and Vice Chairman, respectively, of the HDMA Board of Directors.

Since the last annual meeting, the following Directors also joined the Board:

  • Paul Dickson, President, Morris & Dickson Co., L.L.C.;
  • Chad Gielen, President/CEO, Louisiana Wholesale Drug Co. Inc.;
  • Robert Mauch, Executive Vice President & President, AmerisourceBergen Drug Corp; and,
  • Charles “Chip” Phillips, President, Anda, Inc.
