COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — At the 2016 Business and Leadership Conference in Colorado Springs, Colo., the Healthcare Distribution Alliance (HDA, formerly the Healthcare Distribution Management Association) recognized outstanding pharmaceutical and consumer product manufacturers with the annual Distribution Management Awards for Notable Achievements in Healthcare.
Since 1959 the DIANA awards have honored HDA-member manufacturers that develop innovative new product introductions and promotions for the healthcare distribution industry. Recipients also are recognized for fostering exceptional trading partner relationships with HDA distribution members, advancing trade relations and creating business practices that benefit the entire healthcare supply chain.
Two companies also were recognized as HDA Manufacturer Partners of the Year. This category honors HDA manufacturer members for their active participation in the association. Winners have at least five consecutive years of membership, regularly participate in HDA conferences and serve on committees, as well as support the organization through further event attendance and sponsorships.
“Teamwork – the power of the healthcare supply chain working together for the patients they serve — is one of the core values of our organization, and is at the heart of every DIANA winner,” said HDA President and CEO John M. Gray. “We congratulate these exceptional pharmaceutical and consumer product manufacturers, whose excellence and creativity in their new product introductions, trading partner relationships and contributions to HDA is helping to lead the healthcare supply chain into a thriving future.”
