ARLINGTON, Va. — Healthcare Distribution Alliance (HDA) President and CEO Chester “Chip” Davis, Jr., released a statement regarding the Biden-Harris administration’s authorization of COVID-19 vaccine booster doses.

“The Biden administration’s recommendation that most Americans receive a coronavirus booster shot eight months after completing their initial vaccination represents a new phase in our collective fight against the pandemic. HDA and our members remain deeply engaged in the national response to COVID-19, partnering with federal, state and local governments, manufacturers, as well as pharmacies and providers, to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of vaccines, PPE, therapeutics and other medical supplies. We look forward to further leveraging our logistics expertise, capacity and capabilities to swiftly distribute booster shots to communities across the country and to help turn the tide of the virus.”
