These guidelines educate trading partners across the healthcare supply chain in the processes used for the negotiation and administration of contracts, as well as the submission, validation and reconciliation of chargebacks.

Updated from the 2001 version by HDMA’s Contracts and Chargebacks Working Group, the guidelines also encourage communication among trading partners to streamline these processes to achieve optimum results.
