The report identifies current industry practices in returned goods logistics and documents those trends over time to educate the industry about adoption of practices that may reduce costs and improve operational efficiencies. It includes survey data from manufacturers, distributors and service providers, examining a full range of practices generally associated with returned goods, including returns authorization process, shipping, receiving, processing and disposition.
