Traceability Webinar

(Webinar held: May 19, 2016) With DSCSA deadlines for full pharmaceutical product traceability rapidly approaching, having a well-defined bar coding strategy in place will be critical to supporting your organization’s compliance initiatives. Nearly three years after the enactment of the DSCSA, many lessons have been learned as implementation efforts continue. Accordingly, HDMA is updating its bar code guidelines, beginning with the “Quick Start Guide” (first published in 2014).

This webinar, sponsored by Axway, highlights changes to this document, which represent best practices as the industry moves toward product serialization, highlight the use of GS1 standards in the supply chain and address gaps in current guidance. The webinar reviews:

  • The importance of GS1 global standards and bar code quality in the supply chain;
  • Case label changes;
  • Guidance for labeling inner packs; and
  • The SSCC for partial cases and partial inner packs.
