Hotel and Travel Information

Pack your suit and flip flops! This year's Annual Board and Membership Meeting will be held at the Sea Island Resort tucked away on the southeastern coast of Georgia! 

HDA has negotiated a special room block specifically for our event attendees at the Sea Island Resort. All conference attendees should make every effort to stay at the official event hotel. Reserving your room through our official hotel room block allows the HDA staff to resolve any hotel reservation disputes, ensure attendees receive all applicable discounts and materials, maximize their conference experience and assist HDA in maintaining affordable, quality programming.

Reservations: Check In: 4:00 PM | Check Out: 12:00 PM 
Room rates are $436 per night (single/double occupancy) plus taxes. The resort fee is $32/night. 

The resort fee includes: 24 hour parking, valet parking, access to the Beach Club, Fitness Center, Business Center, shuttle transportation within the property, beach equipment and complimentary use of BMW courtesy vehicles. 

Reservations will require a credit card and a deposit for one room night. Reservations at the group rate are available on a first-come, first-served basis until Monday, August 21, 2023. After this date, the hotel will only accept reservations at the HDA group rate based on space and rate availability. Make changes or cancellations directly with the hotel. Deposits will be refunded for rooms cancelled more than seven days prior to arrival. Name changes to room reservations may be made up to arrival at no-charge.

We highly recommend you secure a hotel room prior to booking travel.

All changes and cancellations should be communicated directly to the hotel. Rooms cancelled less than seven days from the scheduled arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of one night, plus applicable taxes. Early departures and no-shows will be treated as cancellations and charged according to this policy.

Parking is included in the resort fee.
