Hotel and Travel Information

Saddle up! DMC is back in Austin, Texas! HDA has negotiated a special room block specifically for our event attendees at the JW Marriott Austin. All conference attendees should make every effort to stay at the official event hotel. Supporting the official hotel room block provides HDA staff support to resolve hotel reservation disputes; ensures attendees receive all applicable discounts and materials, as well as maximize their conference experience; and assists HDA in maintaining affordable, quality programming.

Reservations: Check In: 3:00 PM | Check Out: 11:00 AM 
Room rates are $349 per night (single/double occupancy) plus taxes. 

Reservations will require a credit card and a deposit for one room night. Reservations at the group rate are available on a first come, first served basis until Monday, February 16th, 2026. After this date, the hotel will only accept reservations at the HDA group rate based on space and rate availability. Make changes or cancellations directly with the hotel. Deposits will be refunded for rooms cancelled more than one day prior to arrival.

Should the hotel block become full, a waitlist will be established for those needing rooms. Should any rooms become available they will be distributed in a first-come, first-serve basis.

We highly recommend you secure a hotel room prior to booking travel.

All changes and cancellations should be communicated directly to the hotel. Rooms cancelled less than 3 days from the scheduled arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of one night, plus applicable taxes. Early departures and no-shows will be treated as cancellations and charged according to this policy.
