HDA Presents McKesson’s Brandon Miller With 2026 DMA for Industry Leadership
March 09, 2026The Healthcare Distribution Alliance (HDA) today presented Brandon Miller, Vice President of Brand Strategic & Vaccine Sourcing at McKesson, with the 2026 Distribution Management Award (DMA) for Industry Leadership.
Presented annually at HDA’s Distribution Management Conference (DMC), the DMA for Industry Leadership recognizes an individual who demonstrates extraordinary dedication to strengthening distribution operations and enhancing trading partner relationships, while setting a standard of excellence across the distribution sector. The distributor and manufacturer member executives of the HDA Industry Relations Council select the award winners.
In his role at McKesson, Miller leads the strategic sourcing of brand purchases for the North American Pharmaceutical Services business and oversees negotiations and contracting with more than 300 brand manufacturers, supporting the company’s commitment to helping make care more accessible and affordable.
Miller has played a critical leadership role through multiple COVID-19 vaccine seasons, successfully guiding his team from the early government-run program through commercial launch and beyond. His work helped ensure continuity, access, and execution at scale during an unprecedented time, underscoring the essential role distributors play in moving vaccines efficiently and reliably from manufacturers to care settings nationwide.
Additionally, Miller is known for his expertise in trade relations. As former Associate Vice President at Allergan, an AbbVie company, Miller oversaw and led a national account team, as well as determined and drove strategy to manage the trade channel pharmaceutical and consumer OTC sales businesses. His leadership became synonymous with building enduring, trust-based partnerships that elevated standards across the distribution ecosystem.
