Yes, if you do not currently have an active HDA account, you will need to create one. Please note you DO NOT need to be an HDA member to create an account. Creating an account with facilitate the registration process for any HDA events.

If you are unable to login to your account, please contact Member Services so we can provide you with temporary credentials so that you may access your account. Please note once you login; you will be prompted to update your password.

You should receive a confirmation email the same day you submit your registration. If more than 24 hours have passed and you have not received a confirmation, please contact Meg O'Rourke. She will be able to verify your registration was received.

You should be able to update your information online upon logging into your HDA account. Your information can be reviewed under the “My Profile” tab. If you made changes but noticed they weren’t reflected, please contact Member Services.

If you need a receipt for your registration, please contact Meg O'Rourke so that she may provide it to you.

If no availability is showing for the dates you need, these are the options:
  -Try adjusting your dates
  -If your dates are not flexible, call the hotel directly to see if they have avaiability outside the HDA block. Once the HDA Block is sold out, the hotel will only accept reservations at their listed Best Available Rate.  Should a hotel room at the JW Marriott Desert Springs not be available, a list of nearby hotels can be found here.

Please contact the hotel directly to verify your confirmation. When speaking to hotel don’t forget to verify that your reservation is within the HDA group room block and you are receiving the group rate, your dates are accurate, your Marriott Bonvoy Reward number is tied to your reservation, and any other accessibility requests you may have.

Registrations are transferable among individuals within the same company at no additional charge until Saturday, January 23, 2027. After Saturday, January 23, 2027, a $245 processing fee will apply for any substitutions. . To transfer your registration please complete the substitution request form.

Unfortunately, deferring registrations was only an option during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. If you need to cancel and you are within the cancellation deadline, we will issue a refund for your registration. If you are unable to attend, you may also transfer your registration to a person within your company. To submit a cancellation or substitution request, please click here.

No, HDA does not handle hotel reservation cancellations. Please reach out to the hotel directly at 760.31.2211.If you do not cancel your reservation at least 72 hours prior to your arrival date, you will be charged by the hotel.

If you cancelled within the designated cancellation deadlines, you will receive a refund. Registrations are refunded via the original method of payment. If you paid via check, ACH, or Wire, a check will be mailed to you via the company address we have on-file for you. If you paid via credit card, please allow up to 3 business days for the amount to reflect on your card. Please note, if the card you paid with is no longer active, we must send the refund check directly to your company.

Cancellation requested:

• By 1/23/27 - Full Refund
• Between 1/24/27 and /19/27 - Refund less $360 fee
• 2/20/27 and later - No Refund

If you are no longer employed with the company you registered with, please contact us to provide us with your new company information. Please note that your registration fee is subject to change.
