Hotel and Travel Information

HDA has negotiated a special room block specifically for our event attendees at The Marriott Marquis San Diego Marina. All conference attendees should make every effort to stay at the official event hotel. Supporting the official hotel room block provides HDA staff support to resolve hotel reservation disputes; ensures attendees receive all applicable discounts and materials, as well as maximize their conference experience; and assists HDA in maintaining affordable, quality programming. 

Reservations: Check In: 4:00 PM | Check Out: 11:00 AM 
Room rates are $349 per night (single/double occupancy) plus taxes.

Reservations will require a credit card and a deposit for one room night. Reservations at the group rate are available on a first come, first served basis until Tuesday, May 26, 2026. After this date, the hotel will only accept reservations at the HDA group rate based on space and rate availability. All reservation requests will require a credit card, a deposit for one room night, or a guarantee to the Master Account. Deposits will be refunded for rooms cancelled more than 14 days prior to arrival.

We highly recommend you secure a hotel room prior to booking travel.

All changes and cancellations should be communicated directly to the hotel. Rooms cancelled less than 14 days from the scheduled arrival date are subject to a cancellation fee equivalent to the cost of one night, plus applicable taxes. Early departures and no-shows will be treated as cancellations and charged according to this policy.
